Shantycrew
Buitenboord
is opgericht in september 2002
in Zwolle. De crew bestaat uit 6 zangers
en één accordeonist. Er worden
originele shanty’s, drank- en
kroegliederen gezongen waarvan ca. 50%
a-capella. De
optredens zijn vooral op festivals, in
kroegen, op schepen en in jachthavens. In
het voorjaar van 2004 is de eerste
promotie-CD opgenomen. In april 2009 is de
tweede CD “The Mollymauk” uitgebracht.

Shantycrew
Buitenboord
was formed in september 2002. Our home
town is Zwolle. We are a group of 7
enthousastic men. We sing Shanties and
Seasongs. We perform in the original
a-capella style led by a “shantyman”
and also songs led by accordeon. Most songs are in English but
we also bring songs in French and in
Dutch.
We are singing at festivals, special
events an also in pubs.
